Meet with Padam Shri Prof. H.C. Verma:
Meeting Padma Shri Prof. H.C. Verma was truly a dream come true for the NGO students. His journey—from struggling in school to becoming one of India’s most respected physics educators—shows how education can transform lives and empower individuals to inspire many others. For these children, interacting with Prof. Verma was not only motivating but also a joyful experience, as they got to see his humorous side and learn valuable life lessons in a simple, engaging way—just like his famous books teach complex concepts with ease. Such a meeting made the importance of education real and unforgettable, leaving the children inspired and excited about their own potential.

Awareness marathon against Cancer
In 2018, we organized a Cancer Awareness Marathon in Orai, inviting the community to walk together and spread awareness about the importance of not ignoring the body’s early warning signs of cancer.
The event was more than just a physical activity—it became a movement to educate our community about early detection, promote regular screenings, and break the myths surrounding cancer.
By coming together for this walk, we aimed to inspire healthier lifestyles, support those affected, and remind everyone that most cancers are treatable if caught early.
Every step taken was a stride toward a more informed and united Orai in the fight against cancer.
This event was truly a turning point for us, sparking greater energy and commitment within our team. Since then, we have conducted several other awareness programs on health, hygiene, and social issues—and we remain dedicated to continuing such impactful initiatives in the future.

Plantation Drives: Where Learning Meets Action
This NGO-led initiative showed students that true education extends beyond classrooms – it’s about nurturing life itself. While planting saplings, they discovered how trees combat pollution, protect wildlife, and keep our planet alive. More importantly, they learned that every sapling they plant becomes their lifelong responsibility – a living lesson in care and commitment.By involving them in planting and protection, the drive transformed environmental awareness into daily practice. Spread across multiple locations, it proved that small, collective actions – like tending to a single tree – can grow into powerful change for a greener tomorrow.

Yoga Drive: Cultivating Inner Peace for Lifelong Harmony
This yoga initiative focuses on holistic growth—helping participants evolve mentally, physically, and spiritually. By experiencing yoga’s calming power, they learn to integrate its practices into daily life, gaining tools to handle stress, build resilience, and nurture self-awareness. Over time, this fosters not just physical fitness, but also mental clarity, emotional balance, and a deeper connection to themselves and others. The drive emphasizes that true fulfillment comes from nurturing the mind-body-spirit balance, creating a foundation for lasting well-being, compassion, and harmony in all aspects of life.

Annual function-Celebrating Courage and Transformation
This inaugural event shines a light on students who once hesitated but now speak boldly, their journeys from self-doubt to confidence embodying the power of belief. It’s more than a celebration of progress—it’s a tribute to the mentors, opportunities, and community that ignite self-trust. Each voice amplified here reminds us that real change begins when someone dares to say, “I can.” By honoring these stories of resilience, we reaffirm a shared mission: to nurture spaces where potential blooms, limitations crumble, and every individual discovers the strength to rewrite their story. Together, we don’t just witness transformation—we fuel it.

Waste Management Segregation Awareness Campaign
Waste management is crucial for protecting our environment and health, but finding effective solutions remains a big challenge. To address this, we partnered with the Nagar Palika of Orai and began raising awareness about the importance of waste segregation and proper treatment. By teaching people to separate their waste, we help reduce pollution, conserve resources, and create a cleaner, healthier community. This collaboration is a step towards sustainable waste management and a better future for everyone.

Groceries and food distribution-Supporting Communities During Covid Crisis
When COVID-19 struck, its impact varied widely—many faced devastating financial strain, struggling even to afford basic necessities. Recognizing this urgent need, we stepped forward to distribute groceries and meals to those hardest hit. Beyond addressing hunger, this effort became a lifeline of solidarity, offering hope and reassurance during an isolating crisis. By delivering essential supplies to vulnerable households, we not only met immediate needs but also reinforced the power of collective care. This initiative highlighted how, even in the darkest times, small acts of compassion—like a bag of groceries or a warm meal—can spark resilience and remind communities that no one has to face hardship alone.

Clean Orai, Green Orai: Simple Steps for a Greener Future
We’ve planted trees, but now we’re taking it further! Our students perform street plays (Nukkad Natak) to teach simple ways to keep Orai clean and green. They explain how to separate waste into wet, dry, and harmful categories, and why planting trees matters. Through fun, easy-to-understand skits, they show how small actions like sorting trash or caring for plants can make a big difference. Together, we’re helping everyone in Orai learn, act, and build a healthier, greener home for all.

Old aged home visit
Regular visits to old age homes by NGO students serve as a profound lesson in empathy and family values, teaching them to honor the sacrifices elders made while raising families. By spending time with residents who often feel abandoned, students witness the emotional toll of loneliness and learn why it’s crucial to care for aging parents with dignity and compassion. These interactions highlight how emotions and relationships—cornerstones of being human—shape our lives, reminding students that kindness and connection define our humanity. Such experiences inspire them to break cycles of indifference, ensuring they value their own families and uphold the bonds of love, respect, and shared responsibility that make us truly human.

Health Camps at NGO Premises.
We team up with government doctors to run health camps for students and their mothers. These camps offer free check-ups, medicines, and advice on staying healthy. Mothers, who often ignore their own health, get special care for issues like anemia or back pain etc. Students receive check-ups for nutrition, vision, or common illnesses. Government doctors handle serious problems (like diabetes or eye surgeries) and connect families to hospitals for follow-up care. NGOs organize the camp and spread awareness in the community.
Why It Works
Mothers: Learn to prioritize their health through free screenings and counseling.
Students: Get early treatment for issues affecting growth and learning.
Doctors + NGOs: Combine skills and community trust to reach more people.
